DESIGN: The Model Mountain - Expedition Everest

Of course it is the details that keep us coming back.  The layers upon layers of stuff that continue to enhance and embellish the backstory that drives everything at Disney.  Here is one such example.  As you are running toward Expedition Everest, take a moment and look at the temple just past the large ape enclosure and on the way toward the restrooms.  Notice how the Imagineers have subtly echoed the mountain formation with the temple in the foreground.
